'Art classes in Art Museums' starts in Hefei

The first practical activity of 'Art classes in Art Museums' was launched at the Anhui Art Museum, where the faculty and students of the painting department of the School of Arts at Anhui University visited the 'Lifelong Commitment to Art -- Exhibition of Pan Yuliang Art Studies' at the Anhui Art Museum and conducted on-site sketching activities in a cooperative effort between the museum and the university.

During the activity, the museum staff briefly introduced the legendary life of the artist Pan Yuliang and provided detailed introductions to the key exhibits of the exhibition. Students stopped in front of the works and had in-depth discussions on the expression and characteristics of Pan Yuliang's paintings.

Under the guidance of the art teacher Luo Cheng from the School of Arts, the students also did on-site sketches in the designated area during the activity.

It is reported that this event is part of a series of 'Art classes in Art Museums,' which aims to guide students to sketch original works, so that they can understand the style of Anhui local painters and fully utilize the public education function of art museums, expanding the practical cooperation space between art museums and universities of fine arts.
