24 Solar Terms: Grain Rain

Grain Rain is one of the 24 solar terms in Chinese culture and is celebrated each year during late April to early May. The customs include young women walking between villages to visit relatives, drinking Grain Rain Tea, the ancient tradition of Cangjie worship, and eating Chinese Toon. These customs are intended to bring people closer to nature, promote physical and spiritual wellbeing, and are still celebrated in Chinese culture today as a means of connecting to ancient traditions and practices.
