3 Anhui-based universities among China’s top 100

Three universities in East China’s Anhui province have been ranked among China’s top 100 universities, according to a list released by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy.

The University of Science and Technology of China took the 7th place, Hefei University of Technology was ranked 82nd and Anhui University was at 90th.

The list ranked more than 1,200 universities and colleges that can grant bachelor’s degrees based on over 100 indicators.

The University of Science and Technology is building an international campus, Hefei University of Technology is establishing an institute for intelligent manufacturing technology, and Anhui University is setting up a school of future technology. All these efforts will lead to high-quality development of the universities, insiders said.
