Chinese banks will be financing 320 cultural and tourism projects nationwide to promote high-quality development of the relevant industries, according to Xinhua News Agency. Those projects were jointly selected by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and six banks, including the China Development Bank. East China’s Anhui province saw 25 cultural and tourism projects among them, ranking 2nd in the country, Anhui Daily said, adding that the projects, involving a total investment of 21.13 billion yuan ($3.26 billion), are expected to receive 8.55 billion yuan worth of funds. The projects include the Huangshan Mountain Calligraphy and Painting Township project and the one featuring the Russian village in Qianshan. Some of the projects have already been implemented and gained credit support, the ministry said.
