CHENGDU, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) --Shenzhen Nankeda and Anhui Souyu
claimed their first season victories at the 2020 China Badminton super
League (CBSL) here on Monday. Shenzhen
edged defending champion Zhejiang Nengyuan 3-2. Liang Weikeng/Zheng
Xuhui moved past Wang Sijie/Ni Bowen 11-9, 11-9, 9-11, 11-5 to gain the
opening point for Shenzhen in the mixed doubles, before their teammate
Zhang Yiman beat Han Qianxi 3-1 in the women's singles. After
another victory claimed by Feng Xueying/Wu Yingshi in the women's
doubles, Shenzhen extended the lead to 3-0, which brought the team the
victory despite two losses in men's singles and men's doubles. "We
lost the match yesterday, which makes us more decisive on key points
today, and I suppose that's the reason for our victory," said Zhang
Yiman. In the other match on Monday,
Anhui Souyu overwhelmed Jiangsu Weikeduo 4-1, while Ruichang Biyuan
beat Xiamen Tefang 4-1, and Qingdao Renzhou swept Hunan Hualai 5-0. The
2020 CBSL runs from August 27 to September 14 in Chengdu. Due to the
