Aili Village is located at the junction of Nanling, Jing County, and Qingyang counties in Anhui, where the Jiuhua Mountain Range stretches to create a beautiful natural landscape and a good ecological foundation. The Xiaogeli Forest Park, which covers an area of about 10,000 mu in the village, is the best-preserved primeval secondary forest in East China. And the village has a forest coverage rate of nearly 80%.

The village's homestay where the reporter stayed is right at the foot of the mountain, with mountains visible from the door and water just outside. Walking on the stone path in the mountains, the sound of mountain springs flows, and the clear water is like a mirror, as if walking in a painting.

In 2013, through the construction of a beautiful countryside, the village appearance and infrastructure of Damushan Village in Aili Village were greatly improved, especially the improvement of roads, which effectively solved the problem of mountain travel.

Nowadays, the rural tourism in Aili Village has developed vigorously. Centered on Xiaogeli Forest Park, the village has created five beautiful rural villages: Qiaotou, Damushan, Cangli, Gelihu, and Zhuangyuancun. It has achieved integrated development of culture and tourism. In 2022, driven by Aili Village, the whole town received 1.4 million tourists, with a comprehensive tourism income of 68 million yuan, driving employment of more than 3000 people. In 2023, nearly 600,000 tourists were received.

The vigorous development of the cultural and tourism industry has become the engine of rural revitalization, driving the integrated development of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries in Aili Village.
