On June 14th, the inaugural meeting of the Hefei Metaverse Industry Association and the first general meeting of its members were held, marking the official establishment of the first metaverse industry association in Anhui province. 55 enterprises in the metaverse industry in Hefei became the first batch of member units. As an important part of the digital economy, the metaverse is currently a hot spot and a new track for global technological innovation. Hefei has included "metaverse" in the government work report for two consecutive years. Hefei has been actively promoting the formation of the Metaverse Industry Association by relevant enterprises, universities, research institutes, and social organizations. The member enterprises cover the basic, upstream, middle, and downstream layers of the metaverse industry.
