Anhui’s imports and exports up 12.2% in Jan-Aug

In the first eight months of this year, Anhui’s import and export hit 346.41 billion yuan, up by 12.2 percent year on year.
Despite COVID-19 pandemic, foreign trade in Anhui has maintained sound
momentum and strong resilience thanks to a slew of favorable policies
for foreign trade enterprises. According to Hefei Customs, from Jan to
Aug, Anhui’s total imports and exports grew 12.2 percent year-on-year to
346.41 billion yuan, among which, the exports totaled 202.83 billion
yuan, up by 12.4 percent and the imports reached 143.58 billion yuan, up
by 12 percent.
