Over 160,000 tulips in Hefei's Siji Huahai Park are now in full bloom. The beautiful spring scenery has attracted countless visitors here.[Photo by Liu Yucai] On March 24th, over 160,000 tulips in Siji Huahai Park (literally "flower sea of four seasons") in Shushan Distrcit, Hefei City reached their blooming season. These colorful flowers in full bloom constituted a fascinating view that have attracted a large number of visitors. This year, the park has planted approximately 6,000 square meters of tulips which are all imported from the Netherlands including some very rare varieties. According to the director of the park, the tulips are expected to bloom until mid-to-late April. To promote the parks' brand and enhance its reputation, they plan to further expand the planting area of tulips and add more varieties.
