About 659,000 people will travel by train during the Dragon Boat Festival break from June 15 to 18, Hefei Railway Station said on Tuesday.
The two major railway stations in Hefei, capital of East China’s Anhui province - Hefei South Railway Station and Hefei Railway Station - will add 23.5 pairs of train services during the break.
The Hefei South Railway Station will add 13 pairs of bullet trains, while the Hefei Railway Station will add 10.5 pairs of trains.
During the holiday, tourist attractions in Wuhu, Huangshan, Anqing, Nanling and Chaohu will be the major destinations for train travelers.
A total of 203 pairs of train services will be launched during the break, including 138 pairs in the Hefei South Railway Station and 65 ones in the Hefei Railway Station.
