Young man takes care of visually impaired mother for years in E China's Anhui

HEFEI, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- Cheng Baoliu, a 20-year-old young man who lives in Hefei of east China's Anhui, has learned to take care of his visually impaired mother and do household chores since childhood. After his father left home for work 17 years ago, Cheng has become the only one his mother could rely on.

Over the years, Cheng and his mother's life gets better with help from society. Cheng is now a sophomore at a university in Hefei. His father returned home and found a job in their hometown. But Cheng still tries his best to take care of his mother and takes part-time jobs during school vacations to help his family.

As for the future, Cheng said he would find a steady job and keep on taking care of his mother after graduation.
