Southward extension of Susong Road to connect new Hefei-Lujiang channel

The southward extension of Susong Road is an important part of the 'Three Horizontals and Four Verticals' construction project of Hefei in 2023, and it is an important channel connecting the urban area of Hefei to Lujiang County. Recently, the Hefei Urban and Rural Construction Bureau held a design review meeting for the southward extension of Susong Road (from Shenzhen Road to Yandian Intersection), strictly reviewing and optimizing the design plan, and promoting the road construction with high quality.

The southward extension of Susong Road (from Shenzhen Road to Yandian Intersection) is planned as an urban expressway, with a total length of about 5.41 kilometers, and is laid in the form of a surface expressway. The starting point of the project is connected to the Shenzhen Road interchange, crossing the Jianghuai Canal to the south, and then crossing the Jiangjunlingdong Road, the Ring Expressway, and the Yanliu Road. The endpoint crosses the Yandian Expressway connection line and lands.

The construction of the southward extension of Susong Road will open up a new passage between Hefei and Lujiang, strengthen the connection between Hefei and Lujiang, and play an important role in improving the urban road network and promoting the development of surrounding industries.
