A few days ago, technicians of the sewage treatment plant in Shipai Town, Huaining County, Anqing City were checking the operation of the facilities and the water quality. In recent years, Huaining County has invested more than 300 million yuan (about 43 million U.S. dollars) in constructing 15 township sewage treatment plants in all township government residences to deal with domestic sewage.
