Summer farming starts in green terraces

Jingde County is among the first batch of innovative bases for practicing the theory of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" in China. It has been acknowledged as a key ecological function area and a national ecological county by the State Council. While committing itself to high-standard farmland construction, the county still retains the traditional farming methods in some mountain terraces according to the features of mountainous areas.
