On the afternoon of February 27, at the Global Roadshow Center in Zhong'an Chuanggu Tech Park, Hefei City, the Management Committee of Hefei High-tech Industry Development Zone and Guokai Qudoor Quantum Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (also known as Qudoor Quantum) held a signing event for the Qudoor Quantum (Hefei) Headquarters Base Project. Before the signing event, the two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on accelerating project advancement, jointly promoting the development of the quantum industry in Hefei and building a global "quantum center." Guokai Qudoor Quantum Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was formally established in January 2019. It is a national specialized, sophisticated "little giant" high-tech enterprise with quantum computing and quantum communication core technology and product R&D capabilities. On February 21 this year, Qudoor Quantum officially released the "AbaQu 1.0", China's first modular ion trap quantum computing machine, marking that China's quantum computer has taken a key step from technology breakthroughs, laboratory R&D, to prototype production. With the mission of building a "world-leading science and technology park," in recent years, Hefei High-tech Zone has been focusing on "quantum information" to accelerate the development of future industries. Up to now, the quantum industry chain of Hefei High Tech Zone has gathered 47 related enterprises, including 24 core enterprises, ranking first in the country; has more than 2,000 employees, accounting for one-third of the country, and has five national brand platforms and 19 innovation platforms above the provincial level. Several leading enterprises in the industry have been cultivated, including QuantumCTek, CIQTEK, Origin Quantum, MDQ Technology, and Unitary Quantum. In 2022, Hefei High-tech Zone was approved as a pilot unit for constructing the Quantum Information Future Industry Science and Technology Park. It is determined to finish the "World Quantum Center" construction task by 2035 and make the park's quantum scientific research and industry reach the world-leading level from the domestic leading level.
