Breeding industry in Hefei has developed rapidly

In recent years, Hefei has supported the independent innovation of enterprises and helped the institutes and key enterprises with cooperative breeding,cultivating a number of breakthroughs. At present, it has built 8 national, 13 provincial and 11 municipal seed industry r&d platforms. In 2021, Hefei obtained 139 new plant varieties, 130 crop varieties approved by the state and 173 crop varieties approved by the province.

It is understood that in 2022, Hefei will build a high-level breeding innovation platform, focusing on the construction of the intelligent breeding accelerator.It’s a large scientific device platform and strive to achieve new breakthroughs in the construction of national platforms.
