In order to prevent and solve the frequent occurrence of common rice diseases, the local government organized a volunteer service team consists of experts from major agricultural companies and set up a field classroom and an agricultural technology service platform on Wechat. These measures allow local farmers to obtain technical guidance on various farming issues including fertilizer and water management, weeding, disease and pest prevention and control, and so on.
