Dino Otranto, CEO of Metals and Operations, Fortescue in Australia, recently visited XCMG's proving ground in Xuzhou, China, where he test-drove a 150-tonne battery-electric water truck- the first time he has ever driven a vehicle of this size. He praised its smooth handling, responsive controls, and powerful acceleration.
