The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Forum on History and Culture was established in 2021. Over the years, it has focused on themes such as "Lingnan Culture and the Cultural Greater Bay Area," "Maritime Culture and High-Quality Development," "Overseas Chinese Culture and High-Level Opening-Up," and "Red Culture and New Impetus for Bay Area Development." It has become a significant academic exchange platform for deepening the study of the history and culture of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and supporting the development of a cultural Greater Bay Area. This year's forum centered on the theme "Xian Yuqing and the Study of Lingnan Culture." Experts discussed Xian Yuqing's contributions to academic research, poetry, calligraphy, and painting, as well as her patriotic efforts during the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. The forum aimed to explore the contemporary value of Xian Yuqing's cultural heritage for the current development of the cultural Greater Bay Area and to contribute historical and cultural wisdom to gathering new impetus for the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
