On August 21, reporters learned from the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development that the department, in collaboration with multiple departments, has actively taken measures to optimize the urban functional layout and spatial structure, and actively supports the construction of high-quality industrial communities.

According to requirements, cities and counties in Anhui pay more attention to the integration of industry and city when preparing the overall territorial spatial plans, optimize the urban functional layout and spatial structure, improve the structure and layout of construction land, promote the integration of industrial parks with urban service functions, ensure industrial space for the development of the real economy, and guide the development of multifunctional industrial communities on the premise of ensuring environmental safety.

Currently, the overall territorial spatial plans of cities and counties in our province have been approved. Relevant departments will guide the cities and counties to coordinate the various land functions of industrial parks when preparing detailed plans, optimize the industrial spatial layout, guide industrial agglomeration and job-residence balance, clarify the layout of specialized public facilities according to industrial needs, coordinate the arrangement of industrial neighborhood centers and new mixed-use industrial lands, providing important guarantees for creating high-quality industrial spaces. The province will also improve the construction of supporting facilities for industrial communities so that residents can enjoy convenient and comfortable public services like elderly care and childcare right at their doorstep.

In the future, relevant departments will prepare and select community grid elderly care and childcare project reserves, supervise pilot cities like Hefei and Wuhu in the construction of embedded service facilities for national urban communities, accelerate the advancement of preliminary project work, and focus on promoting and prioritizing the renovation and construction of embedded service complexes (community service centers) that are moderate in scale, economically practical, and functionally integrated.

Additionally, Anhui focuses on promoting the equalization of basic public services in industrial communities, continuously enhancing the Yangtze River Delta government map service capabilities, and creating the "One Map Smart Service" version 3.0. The province fully implements intelligent navigation and guidance modes, expands the service scope of thematic maps for culture and education, health, public security, and advances pilot operations for intermediary and livelihood service thematic maps, constructing a comprehensive "supermarket" of government services. Currently, 83,000 various service locations across the province are linked.

Next, the province will focus on building a 24-hour non-stop service brand and promoting the standardized construction of grassroots service venues.
