From June 30 to July 6, 2025, the "Research Tour on Vibrant China" Anhui-themed media delegation conducted in-depth interviews and research in Anhui.  

From the stunning debut of high-end products to the collaborative growth of industrial chains, and then to the profound transformation of intelligent manufacturing, the industrial pulse on the land of Jianghuai beats with unmistakable vigor.   

The Yangtze-Huaihe River region pulses with unceasing vitality. After a week of interviews and research, the insight gained is that Anhui is accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system-one fundamentally innovation-driven, cluster-empowered, and smart-manufacturing propelled, showcasing the profound transformation catalyzed by innovation-driven development.  

This transformation epitomizes China's dynamic new development paradigm.

High-end products are the core reflection of industrial vitality and competitiveness. Flexible production is not a new concept at present, but the integration of digital and intelligent technologies endows flexible production with greater possibilities and imaginative space. According to a responsible person from NIO, currently, market demands are characterized by small batches and diverse customized varieties. With the empowerment of digital intelligence, flexible production has transformed traditional production lines, achieving a high degree of flexibility and scalability.

In the observation corridor of NIO's Advanced Manufacturing Hefei Xinqiao Second Factory, journalists witnessed NIO's world-first "Magic Cube" vehicle storage and retrieval platform, akin to a "giant claw machine" within the factory, capable of precisely lifting, transferring, and picking up different models of vehicles in a six-story, 753-space three-dimensional space. The "flying land" intelligent assembly island transforms the traditional "single-lane" production line into a "flyover" type parallel manufacturing system, allowing AGV carts to transport vehicle bodies to workstations, significantly reducing the changeover period for different models. The "Tiangong" intelligent manufacturing management system, serving as the factory's "smart brain," can make 80% of intelligent decisions, efficiently scheduling production line operations. 

A variety of cutting-edge technologies enable NIO to fulfill over 3.59 million personalized configuration combinations, reducing the time from order receipt to vehicle rollout from the previous 21 days to 14 days.
