On July 14, the first phase of the 2025 "Run, Youth!" National Tee-ball Championship concluded in Xingyi City, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. The glove team of grades 1-2 from Huashan Road Campus of Hefei Normal University Affiliated Third Elementary School claimed the championship.

This tournament attracted 66 teams from 14 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions), with a total of 1,117 athletes, referees, and coaches participating in 228 matches. After fierce competition, the Huashan Road Campus 1-2 grade glove team won the championship with an undefeated record. Coach Gao Feng was awarded "Best Coach," student Zhou Zhengyang won the individual home run champion, and the school was honored as the "Best Experimental School." This marks the fourth consecutive year the school’s tee-ball team has won the national championship.

Since September 2023, with support from higher-level education authorities, Huashan Road Campus added a physical education games class for first graders, becoming the first to implement "one PE class every day." This year, it successfully hosted a related promotion meeting for Baohe District. The second-grade team had previously won first place in the 2024 Anhui Youth Baseball and Softball Competition, the 2025 Hefei Primary and Secondary Schools "Sunshine Sports" Tee-ball Competition championship, and the first prize in the 2025 Anhui Youth Baseball and Softball Competition.

In December 2024, the Ministry of Education held a school sports reform seminar in Hefei. Participants visited Huashan Road Campus for on-site observation and highly praised the school's initiatives such as "one PE class every day" and "two hours of physical activity every day."

Huashan Road Campus implements the "2+N" sports program led by "tee-ball" and "football," actively promoting the "two hours of daily exercise" campaign. The school has achieved excellent results in the national compulsory education quality monitoring, with outstanding performance in tee-ball. It has cultivated an atmosphere where "every class has a team, everyone knows how to play, activities happen weekly, and leagues are held annually." This project has driven development in football, five-animal exercises, roller skating, sports games, dance, and other activities, achieving balanced education development and supporting students’ healthy and comprehensive growth.
