At 21:00 on July 7th, Flight MR897 carrying 43 passengers landed smoothly at Huangshan Tunxi International Airport, marking the successful inaugural flight of the Ulan Bator to Huangshan charter and officially announcing the opening of the international passenger route between Huangshan and Ulan Bator. The launch of this route has made travel between the two places more convenient, promoting the sharing of cultural and tourism resources as well as deepening economic and trade cooperation. The route is operated by Hunnu Air from Mongolia, with a planned schedule of one flight per week on Mondays. The specific times are as follows: Departure from Ulan Bator at 16:30, arriving in Huangshan at 20:10; return journey departing Huangshan at 21:10, scheduled to arrive back in Ulan Bator at 00:50 the following day. Since the beginning of this year, Huangshan Tunxi International Airport has implemented policies such as 240-hour visa-free transit and unilateral visa exemption, actively engaging with domestic and foreign airlines. It has successively opened international routes to Incheon, Busan, Kuala Lumpur, Ulan Bator, and other destinations. In the first half of the year, a total of 25,062 international and regional passenger throughputs were completed, representing a year-on-year increase of 492.6%. To continuously optimize regulatory service measures, Huangshan Customs has introduced several convenient clearance initiatives at Tunxi International Airport, where the average clearance time for passengers is only 2 minutes.
