On the morning of February 17th, Changfeng County in Hefei City held a conference on accelerating the development of new quality productive forces and building a world-class new energy vehicle city. Reporters learned from the meeting that Changfeng aims to benchmark against world-class standards to create an internationally influential world-class new energy vehicle city. Changfeng will focus on three aspects: large-scale industry, strong R&D and manufacturing, and high-quality urban development, to build an internationally influential world-class new energy vehicle city. At the conference, Changfeng County proposed that by 2030, it strives to achieve an industrial scale of 300 billion yuan related to intelligent connected vehicles, with 500 enterprises in the intelligent connected vehicle sector. Focusing on the integrated development model of "trinity" including complete vehicles, components, and aftermarket, Changfeng County will strengthen the overall coordination of R&D, manufacturing, sales, and services. In addition to excelling in vehicle manufacturing and consolidating and enhancing the leading role of BYD, Changfeng County will also focus on building a "1+5" development pattern, which includes a manufacturing base, R&D center, sales center, listed entity, and supplier cluster, along with supporting funds. Moreover, Changfeng County will gradually improve the full spectrum of vehicle products, constructing a technological development pattern that primarily uses pure electric vehicles, complemented by plug-in hybrids, and featuring hydrogen fuel demonstration applications. Focusing on the automotive industrial ecosystem, Changfeng County will not only carefully establish urban automotive cultural and brand image IPs but also set up an "automobile +" urban display system, integrating automobile culture into everyday life, urban spaces, and the cultural context of Changfeng. At the same time, it aims to innovate service industry scenarios, creating a batch of themed pavilions, themed hotels, and other automotive-themed cultural spaces.
