To accelerate the high-quality development of the county economy, various regions in Anhui have fully leveraged their resource advantages to cultivate and expand industrial clusters (bases) according to local conditions. They are strengthening policy support, improving industrial chains and public services, promoting enterprises to upgrade and develop upwards.

In Yixian County, Huangshan City, the autumn scenery of Tachuan Village in November is at its peak, with layers of forests dyed in vibrant hues, attracting tourists from all over the country for sightseeing tours and bringing the peak season to the local homestays.

Why do these homestays nestled among the mountains receive frequent praise from tourists nationwide? With this question, reporters visited a homestay located within the Tachuan scenic area. The person in charge, Huang Qiong, told us that as Yixian County has deepened the integration of cultural and tourism development in recent years, the number of tourists has been increasing annually. To retain customers and create distinctive homestays, enhancing service levels is key.

Currently, the scale of homestays in Yixian County has grown to 1070. To further expand the homestay industry cluster, the local area has also innovatively implemented a joint review system for homestays.

To support high-quality development in counties through the construction of characteristic industrial clusters, Anhui currently focuses on five industries: materials, electronics, agricultural and sideline food processing, machinery, and tourism. Based on the resource advantages and industrial concentration of different counties, 72 county-level characteristic industrial clusters (bases) have been cultivated, achieving full coverage across the province. Meanwhile, leveraging key enterprises and major projects as focal points, the province increases technological transformation and R&D investment, improves industrial chains, and builds regional public brands. In Feixi County, Hefei City, relying on high-end home appliances and other industries, over 90 upstream supporting enterprises have gathered to construct a well-established electrical machinery and equipment industrial cluster, with last year's output value reaching 8.6 billion yuan. 

With the continuous advancement of the construction of county-level characteristic industrial clusters (bases), in the first three quarters of this year, the provincial GDP of counties has exceeded 1.74 trillion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 4.6%. In the first half of the year, the 72 county-level characteristic industrial clusters in the province achieved nearly 400 billion yuan in operating income. By 2025, the province is expected to cultivate 35 industrial clusters with operating income reaching 10 billion yuan, strongly promoting the positive development of the provincial county economy.
