On April 26th, the Chizhou-Huangshan high-speed railway was officially inaugurated. On its first day of operation, the railway welcomed its inaugural "Joyful Tour of the Yangtze River Delta" tourist train and the first tour group. Over 600 silver-haired tourists arrived at Huangshanxi Station by high-speed train to embark on a three-day leisure and sightseeing journey in Huizhou.

At 14:00 that day, the "Joyful Tour of the Yangtze River Delta" tourist train G7136, carrying nearly 500 silver-haired tourists from Jiangsu and Anhui regions, departed from Chizhou Station. It traveled along the Chizhou-Huangshan high-speed railway and arrived at Huangshanxi Station at 14:31.

On the same day, at 9:41, a travel group consisting of more than 100 silver-haired tourists from the Zhejiang region set off from Hangzhoudong Station on train G9297, arriving at Huangshanxi Station at 12:00.

The inauguration of the Chizhou-Huangshan high-speed railway has directly connected core tourist attractions in southern Anhui such as Jiuhua Mountain, Mount Huangshan, and Taiping Lake, creating a fast, convenient, and efficient golden tourism route. Moreover, it further promotes exchanges and communication between historical and cultural cities like Huangshan and Yixian County with major Yangtze River Delta and central Chinese cities including Nanjing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan, and Nanchang. This establishes a vast tourism market with distinctive and complementary characteristics, injecting new vitality into the acceleration of building an international cultural tourism demonstration zone in southern Anhui.

It is understood that during the three-day and two-night trip, the group of over 600 silver-haired tourists visited several natural and cultural landscapes including Tunxi Old Street, Taiping Lake, and Nanping Ancient Village. They immersed themselves in the unique cultural heritage and folk customs characteristic of Huizhou style and Anhui charm. Traditional delicacies such as Huangshan baked cakes, stinky mandarin fish, and hairy tofu allowed visitors to savor the "taste of Huizhou".

Mr. Huang, a tourist from Fuyang, expressed his sentiments: "Previously, traveling to southern Anhui attractions like Jiuhua Mountain, Mount Huangshan, and Xidi Hongcun involved quite a bit of hassle and transfers. Now with the opening of the Chizhou-Huangshan high-speed railway, we get off at Huangshanxi Station, which is very close to the scenic areas, making transportation extremely convenient. This high-speed rail tour is truly 'multiple tours along one line'; you can easily visit several scenic spots in just three days."
