On March 26th, at 8:37 am, the first train for trial operation, G55301, departed from Huangshanbei Station. After arriving Yixiandong Station via the Hangzhou-Nanchang High-Speed Railway, the train continued its journey on the Chizhou-Huangshan High-Speed Railway towards Chizhou Station, carrying out train schedule and parameter testing. This marked the completion of the joint debugging and testing phase of the Chizhou-Huangshan High-Speed Railway and the beginning of the trial operation phase, with the full line scheduled to open for operation.

The construction of the Chizhou-Huangshan High-Speed Railway began in December 2019. By January 2023, the entire line's beam construction was completed, followed by track laying in September 2023, OCS installation in October 2023, and static acceptance testing starting in November 2023. As of March 25th, 2024, a total of 838 trial trains of various types have been operated on the Chizhou-Huangshan High-Speed Railway, covering a total distance of 42,700 kilometers. During the comprehensive inspection train test, the maximum speed reached 385 kilometers per hour, demonstrating safety, quality, and efficiency in completing various joint debugging and testing tasks. The project has smoothly transitioned into the trial operational phase, and it is expected to meet the conditions for opening and operation by the end of April.

The Chizhou-Huangshan High-Speed Railway starts from Chizhou Station, passes through Guichi District and Qingyang County in Chizhou City, Huangshan District and Yi County in Huangshan City, and ends at Yixiandong Station. The total length of the main line is approximately 125 kilometers, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. There are four stations in Chizhou, Jiuhuashan, Huangshanxi and Yixiandong along the line. Among them, Jiuhuashan and Huangshanxi are newly built stations, Chizhou Station is a renovated station, and Yixiandong Station is an existing station.

The Chizhou-Huangshan High-Speed Railway is an important part of the Wuhan-Hangzhou high-speed railway corridor. It is connected to the Nanjing-Anqing High-Speed Railway at Chizhou Station and to the Huangshan-Nanchang section of the Hangzhou-Nanchang High-Speed Railway at Yixiandong Station. Once the project is completed and opened, it will become a golden tourism route connecting the two mountains (Jiuhua Mountain and Huangshan Mountain) and one lake (Taiping Lake) in southern Anhui Province. It will play a significant role in improving the regional railway network layout, accelerating the construction of the Southern Anhui International Cultural Tourism Demonstration Zone, and promoting coordinated economic and social development along the railway line.
