On November 18th, at the Wuhu Shipyard Co., Ltd. in Anhui, rows of towering cranes stood silently within the riverside factory area, bathed in the glow of the setting sun. These cranes, resembling colossal metal giants, cast their shadows against the evening sky, creating a breathtaking scene. Wuhu Shipyard is the largest shipbuilding enterprise in Anhui Province. With its unique geographical location and rich historical heritage, it has become a brilliant gem in China's shipbuilding industry. The shipyard has successfully constructed various civilian vessels, including 18,000-ton heavy lift ships, 24,000-ton heavy lift ships, 28,000-ton chemical tankers, 800-car roll-on/roll-off vessels, environmentally friendly pollution control vessels, as well as 82,000-ton bulk carriers and 64,000-ton bulk carriers. These products have been exported to Denmark, Germany, the United Kingdom, Greece, Sweden, Singapore, Malaysia, and other countries. In 2022, the shipyard achieved a production value of 3.1 billion yuan (about 0.43 billion U.S. dollars).
