With the imminent opening of the 2023 World Manufacturing Convention, China's independently developed high-speed maglev train with a speed of 600 kilometers per hour will make its appearance in Hefei for exhibition. It is understood that the train showcased this time is the world's first high-speed maglev transportation system with a speed rating of 600 kilometers per hour, and each train car can accommodate over a hundred passengers. Two trains, measuring 35 meters and 22 meters in length respectively, will be transported from Qingdao to Hefei. 
As an advanced and cutting-edge technology in international land transportation, the 600-kilometer-per-hour high-speed maglev represents the fastest achievable ground transportation speed, bridging the gap between high-speed rail and aviation. At the end of 2020, the Development and Reform Commission of Anhui Province and the Transportation Department of Anhui Province jointly issued the Plan for Anhui Province to Implement the Higher Quality Integrated Development of the Yangtze River Delta Region's Transportation System. According to the plan, efforts will be made to have the national government lay out a high-speed maglev transportation channel in the G60 Sci-Tech Innovation Corridor and initiate the research, development, and construction of the experimental project between Hefei and Wuhu (Jiangbei Industrial Clusters), gradually promoting the full construction of the high-speed maglev line in the G60 Sci-Tech Innovation Corridor, and achieving a one-hour travel time within the corridor. If the G60 Sci-Tech Innovation Corridor can achieve a one-hour travel time within the region, it means that taking the maglev train from Hefei will allow passengers to reach Hangzhou and Shanghai within one hour.
