First session of 14th Anhui Provincial People's Congress grandly opens

On the morning of January 13, the first session of the 14th Anhui Provincial People's Congress grandly opened in Hefei. Zheng Shanjie, Secretary of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and executive chairman of the conference, presided over the meeting.

The conference was informed of the "Government Work Report" delivered by Wang Qingxian, Governor of the People's Government of Anhui Province; reviewed the report on the implementation of Anhui's 2022 national economic and social development plan and the draft plan for 2023; reviewed the report on the budget implementation of Anhui Province in 2022 and draft budget in 2023.
