"We have to make all the preparations." Chen Xiujuan, secretary of Zhuqiao Community of the Yunhe Street Office in Sixian County, stayed up all night again and detailed the day's work with colleagues early in the morning, "Today, the seventh round of nucleic acid testing will be carried out in all areas of the county. We must ensure that in our community, no one is missed in the test, and everyone must get material supply." she said.

Since discovering asymptomatic infections on June 26, Sixian County has implemented static management throughout the county to keep civilians at home. When the reporter interviewed in the county town, he found that many people were busy working on the front line for daily supplies and medical materials and providing grass-roots assistance to ensure the operation of the city.

Under the scorching sun, technicians from the Sixian Power Supply Company of State Grid put on protective clothing and connected the temporary power supply to the newly settled mobile cabin hospitals to provide electricity for the masses. The workers of the Sixian Meteorological Bureau kept carrying out equipment maintenance to ensure the timely and accurate upload of observation data and to provide various weather services during the pandemic.

Lu Qiang, director of the Sixian Commerce Bureau, introduced that since the outbreak of the epidemic, the local government appointed 8 supermarkets as the main suppliers of daily necessities for the county, 15 larger supermarkets near densely populated communities as sub-suppliers and small fresh food supermarkets as the necessary supplement. They have been organizing and carrying out "zero-contact" online ordering and distribution in the community. At present, the average daily delivery is nearly 30,000 orders.

The Sixian Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has comprehensively organized and carried out price supervision, and strictly investigated illegal acts such as hoarding, fabricating price increase information, and driving up prices, which disrupted the market price order. Currently, the county's flour, rice, edible oil, and other living materials are in sufficient supply. Except for the slight increase in the prices of meat and vegetables, the prices of rice, flour, grain, and oil are generally stable.

Xiao Xu from Luomiao Village, Shantou Town recalled a scene three days ago: early that morning, his lover was in labor, and he called the police in a panic; after the Longshan police station received the message, the police quickly picked them up and sent them to the county hospital. "Because of their efforts, my family's little baby successfully arrived, and our normal life has not been disrupted." Xiao Xu said. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, all communities in Sixian County have established a docking system with medical institutions and smoothed the channels for medical treatment.

On the streets of Sixian County under the epidemic, there are occasional vehicles coming and going. The local government demanded that the main traffic roads and the material supply vehicles must be kept undisrupted; expressways and ordinary roads should not be blocked or closed without authorization; county and rural roads should not be forcibly isolated; expressway service areas should not be closed without authorization; and freight vehicles should be operating in closed-loop, by point-to-point transportation.

"My heart is in Sixian County, and we will fight the pandemic together"... Many of the vehicles entering Sixian County had banners, the aid materials from many places arrived one after another, and there were medical personnels from all over Anhui came with them.

Bozhou, Chuzhou, and other places have sent nucleic acid testing cabins and vehicles to Suzhou, with a daily testing capacity of 171,000 tubes. At present, the state, the province, and other cities have sent 131 rescue experts to Suzhou, and 120 medical personnel have been dispatched at the municipal level.

In order to further strengthen the public service work during the pandemic, Sixian County opened the "12345 epidemic service hotline " to listen to public opinions and collect questions. Generally, the reasonable appeals reported by the masses can be preliminarily settled within 4 hours.

Yue Xihuan, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Director of the Neighborhood Committee of Huayuanjing Community in Sixian County, said that the community will continue to carry out information notification, livelihood guarantees and other work through online and offline methods such as WeChat groups, broadcasting, and electronic display screens. After working in the community for several days, he told the reporter: "If we keep moving, the city will not stop!"
