On February 10, 2025, the 13th day of the first lunar month, local villagers in Wangmantian Village, Xitou Town, Shexian County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, performed the Wangmantian Fish Lanterns, attracting many tourists and residents to watch.

The Wangmantian Fish Lanterns are a traditional folk activity that has been passed down for over 600 years in Wangmantian Village, Xitou Town, Shexian County, Huangshan City, and is one of the well-preserved traditional customs of the Huizhou region. Every year from the 13th to the 16th day of the first lunar month, the village performs the playful fish lantern dance, wishing for abundance (fish) in the coming year. In May 2022, the Wangmantian Fish Lanterns were included in the sixth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage representative projects in Anhui Province.
