From January 31st (the third day of the first lunar month) to February 4th (the seventh day of the first lunar month), hosted by the Hefei Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and organized by the Hefei Cultural Center, the 31st Hefei Spring Festival Cultural Temple Fair "Exploring the Temple Fair and Singing Opera" series of performances were staged in multiple shows, bringing a rich array of cultural and artistic programs to citizens and tourists. 

On January 31st, within the Chenghuangmiao District of Hefei City, the sound of the musical instruments was gentle and the singing voice was loud, marking the opening of the first "Spring Festival Prelude" performance by Luyang District. The event featured a variety of acts including instrumental ensembles, solo vocal performances by both male and female singers, drum and song performances, saxophone solos, and dances. Through the exquisite skills of the performers and the clever coordination of various instruments, the joyful and festive atmosphere was vividly showcased.

On February 1st, the "Opera Extravaganza" comprehensive performance resounded with the beat of gongs at Chenghuangmiao, gathering a variety of traditional opera genres such as Peking Opera, Lu Opera, and Huangmei Opera. The delicate performances and mellow singing voices of the actors resonated with the audience below, prompting many opera enthusiasts to hum along softly. The atmosphere was extremely warm, allowing the audience to appreciate the diverse charm of Chinese opera culture in one performance. 

On February 2nd, the "Fragrance of Huangmei" Huangmei Opera special performance was splendidly performed. The performance kicked off with excerpts from the classic Huangmei Opera "Marriage of the Fairy Princess," where the beautiful singing and delicate acting instantly won rounds of applause and cheers from the audience. Subsequently, a succession of multiple selections from classic plays took to the stage, bringing a culturally rich audio-visual feast to the citizens and opera enthusiasts.  

On February 3rd, the "Local Melodies and Rhythms" Lu Opera special performance continued within the courtyard of Chenghuangmiao. Classic Lu Operas took turns on stage, thoroughly satisfying the opera cravings of the audience. At the venue, Granny Liu, who is over 80 years old this year, said happily, "The people of Hefei love Lu Opera; we all love listening to operas from childhood to old age, and every year during the temple fair, I can hear the authentic Lu Opera!" 

On February 4th, the "Classic Quintessence" Peking Opera special performance was performed, with a packed house and a warm atmosphere. From energetic children to elderly people with white hair, audiences of different age groups gathered together to experience the unique charm of Peking Opera. The melodious singing, graceful movements, and delicate acting received continuous accolades from opera fans, with bursts of applause ringing out throughout the venue.  

It is reported that the 31st Hefei Spring Festival Cultural Temple Fair "Exploring the Temple Fair and Singing Opera" series of performances will continue until February 12th (the fifteenth day of the first lunar month). 

This series of performances, through a rich variety of artistic programs, offers the citizens and opera enthusiasts a splendid cultural feast one after another. It aims to let everyone deeply feel the profound cultural connotations of the Spring Festival at the cultural temple fair, and spend a joyful, peaceful, and culturally enriched Spring Festival.
