According to statistics, since its opening three months ago, Hefei Garden Expo Park has received a total of 6.32 million visitors, with a maximum of 400,000 people per day and an average of about 68,000 people per day, setting a new record for previous Garden Expos. After more than three years of preparation, the Garden Expo Park covering an area of 3.23 square kilometers was successfully completed. During the three-month exhibition period, the city exhibition gardens with unique features, the Garden Expo town with a variety of delicacies have presented a joyous and safe Garden Expo event for citizens and tourists. "The Luogang Airport Terminal was transformed into a city construction pavilion during the exhibition period, fully displaying the history, current situation and future of Hefei's urban planning and construction development. After the exhibition, it will continue to be used as a public cultural facility for the city." An engineer involved in the planning and construction of Hefei Garden Expo Park introduced that the construction of Hefei Garden Expo Park implements the urban renewal strategy and is fully integrated with the functional orientation of future urban areas, forming a spatial pattern of "Three Districts, One Pavilion + Urban Exhibition Gardens", so as to ensure the realization of urban ecological function, garden expo exhibition function and district service function.
