May 18th is the International Museum Day. On this day, Anhui Province Sports Museum in Baohe District, Hefei, collaborated with the local Women's Federation, Committee for The Wellbeing of The Youth, and Young Pioneers Working Committee to organize a special traditional sports experience event for children in the community.

'Touhu' Games like Touhu (a kind of Chinese game in which the winner was decided by the number of arrows thrown into a distant pot), Chuiwan (Chinese traditional golf), Cuju (Chinese traditional football), archery, spinning tops, diabolo, and more, which are mostly seen in books or movies, came to life in this event. Under the guidance of sports volunteers, children went to the event one after another, experiencing and feeling the charm of traditional sports. "These games are so fresh and fun. I didn't know that ancient people had so many sports activities." said a student from Chaohu Road Primary School in Hefei, excitedly after experiencing the Touhu game. The traditional sports experience event not only allowed children to learn about the special International Museum Day but also spread knowledge of traditional sports culture to children through practice, let the students better feel the charm of traditional sports cultural activities.
