The Huizhou culture homestay cluster is one of the eleven homestay clusters in China, and it is also the only homestay cluster with the theme of Huizhou culture. On February 12, the reporter came to Huangshan City to appreciate Huizhou homestay's scenery and humanistic charm in the misty rain. In recent years, Huangshan City has been taking the development of the homestay industry as an important way of rural revitalization. By excavating the value of Huizhou's ancient buildings in history, culture, economy, and aesthetics, the local government has been promoting the development of the homestay industry in quality and characteristics. Huizhou homestays are mainly concentrated in Yixian County (37%), Huangshan District (20%), and Shexian County (17%), followed by Huizhou District (10%) and Xiuning County (10%), and less distributed in Tunxi District (3 %) and Qimen County (3%). It is consistent with the development status of the overall tourism industry in Huangshan City. The distribution of homestays is relatively concentrated in the districts and counties where the tourism industry is relatively developed. Currently, there are 2,950 homestays in Huangshan City, accounting for more than two-thirds of the total number of homestays in Anhui Province. According to incomplete statistics, Huangshan's homestays receive more than 200,000 tourists a year, with an annual operating income of more than 1.5 billion yuan (about 220 million U.S. dollars) and an annual operating income of 300 million yuan for boutique homestays, which has become an essential support for the rapid growth of rural tourism.
