Huizhou Merchants Conference on Supporting High-quality Development in Anhui held in Hefei

On the morning of December 20th, the 2023 Huizhou Merchants Conference on Supporting High-quality Development in Anhui and the Founding Conference of the Huizhou Merchants Association were held in Hefei. Famous Huizhou merchants from all over the world gathered by the beautiful shore of Chaohu Lake to witness the founding of the Huizhou Merchants Association and engage in in-depth exchanges and seek cooperation.

This conference was organized by the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Anhui Provincial People's Government, with the support of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. With the theme of "Gathering the World's Huizhou Merchants, Creating a New Era of Brilliance", it aims to further inherit the spirit of Huizhou merchants and contribute to high-quality development in Anhui.

The conference unveiled the plaque for the Huizhou Merchants Association and awarded the first leadership team. At the meeting, 20 projects were signed with a total investment of 34.3 billion yuan.

Huizhou merchants have a profound cultural heritage, and the spirit of Huizhou merchants transcends time and space. Historically, Huizhou merchants created countless legends, prospering in the business world for hundreds of years, giving birth to and nurturing the "hardworking and persevering" spirit of the ‘Huizhou camel’. In the new era, Huizhou merchants standing at the forefront and writing a new chapter of innovation and entrepreneurship.

It is understood that the Huizhou Merchants Association will prioritize strengthening its service functions, including establishing an advisory committee by hiring academicians from Anhui and with Anhui roots to promote deep integration between Huizhou merchant industries and cutting-edge scientific and technological research; forming a legal advisory group by inviting well-known national legal experts to safeguard the healthy development of Huizhou merchant enterprises; establishing specialized committees such as new energy vehicles, new generation information technology, big health industry, and young Huizhou merchants in a timely manner to build a platform for Huizhou merchants to complement each other's advantages and achieve win-win cooperation; and relying on Shanghai Global Huizhou merchants Yangtze River Delta Headquarters Base, preparing to establish the "Huizhou merchants World Meeting Room" and hosting high-profile Huizhou merchants forums to make the strongest voice of the new era Huizhou merchants heard.

During the conference, events such as the New Energy Automobile Industry Chain Matchmaking Symposium, Huizhou Cultural Forum, the Industrial Matchmaking Symposium for the Construction of the Greater Huangshan Area, Hefei Metropolitan Area Industry Matchmaking Symposium, Financial Empowerment Huizhou merchants Development Forum, USTC Silicon Valley Innovation Forum, General Artificial Intelligence Empowering New Industrialization High-quality Development Forum, and Northern Anhui Revitalization Industry Matchmaking Symposium will be held concurrently.
