On November 27, the reporter learned from the press conference (fifth session) of Anhui Province's top ten emerging industries that in the first three quarters of 2023, the electronic information manufacturing industry in the province achieved a business income of 296.47 billion yuan and the main business income of software and information service industry was 123.83 billion yuan. Relying on the national platform of Wuhu Data Center Cluster, the national hub node of Yangtze River Delta in the national integrated computing power network, Anhui Province has actively connected with leading industry enterprises and has signed more than 10 key data center projects, with a total investment of over 250 billion yuan. At the same time, efforts have been made to build an industrial internet platform empowerment system led by dual-cross platforms, horizontal coverage of regional platforms and vertical connection of industry platforms, with a focus on connecting more than 8 million devices (sets) to key industrial Internet platforms and serving more than 100,000 enterprises. Anhui Province has made comprehensive efforts to promote the construction of intelligent computing infrastructure, with a total capacity of over 6500P. The province has also made significant progress in the coordinated development of "dual gigabit" network, with a total of 114,000 5G base stations built, achieving full coverage of 5G networks in urban areas of provincial-level cities, county towns, and townships, and reaching a 5G penetration rate of 94.4% in administrative villages. Additionally, the province's household fiber-optic network coverage has reached 177.8%, with four cities including Hefei, Wuhu, Huangshan, and Suzhou being selected as gigabit cities. Moving forward, Anhui will strengthen leading enterprises while creating an excellent ecosystem, promoting multi-chain collaboration and integrated applications, and building a leading next-generation information technology industry ecology.
