Xiuning, Anhui: E-commerce center boosts sales of local delicacies

On June 20th, inside the E-commerce Entrepreneurship Center in Jiangtian Village, Longtian Township, Xiuning County, Anhui Province, workers were live-streaming the sale of local delicacies such as Huizhou pillow-shaped rice dumplings and salted duck eggs.

It is reported that the village is located at the foot of a thousand-meter-high mountain and is shrouded in mist all year round. It is rich in wild Indocalamus leaves known as "Huiding" and high-quality duck eggs. Every year during the Dragon Boat Festival, local residents will pickle salted duck eggs and wrap rice dumplings to eat. This year, after the village built an E-commerce Entrepreneurship Center integrating processing, packaging, display, and live streaming, mountain delicacies such as rice dumplings are not only supplied to the local market, but also vacuum-packed, refrigerated, and shipped nationwide through e-commerce platforms, driving collective economic development and increasing people's income.
