On July 1st, JAC Kazakhstan joint venture factory Allur celebrated the 20th anniversary of its establishment. The event took place in Kustanai, a city dubbed as "the cradle of automobile industry". At the anniversary celebration, Allur Group commended outstanding contributions of meritorious employees and experts.
The predecessor of JAC's Kazakhstan joint venture factory, Kustanai Agricultural Machinery Co. Ltd., has been engaged in automobile assembly business since 2004 and officially changed its name to Allur Group in the same year. In order to proactively develop the international ecological chain of the "Belt and Road Initiative" region, JAC has successively built 16 KD factories in B&R countries, and formally established partnership with Allur Group in 2013. Since then, the automobile output of Allur Group has increased year by year, and the annual output has exceeded 70,000 vehicles in 2022. As JAC continuously boosts investment in technology，management and capital, the factory has entered a period of rapid high-quality growth and gradually become "the largest automobile factory" in Kazakhstan.
On January 21st, when Kazakh President visited the joint venture factory in Kazakhstan, he fully affirmed the significant contribution made by Allur Group to the development of national economy and automobile industry and called on relevant ministries and commissions to provide more comprehensive support for the development of the joint venture factory.
This year, JAC achieved a new situation of both production and sales in Kazakhstan market，in the first half of the year, JAC's output in Kazakhstan exceeded 10,000 vehicles, ranking fourth among all automobile brands and first among Chinese brands; at the sametime, in the first half of the year, up over 80% year-on-year, reaching the best level in history.
At present, respecting nature and protecting the environment have become the consensus of automobile manufacturers worldwide. In the future, JAC will continue to strengthen the partnership with Kazakhstan in the strategic cooperation of joint venture projects and launch more new products to offer greener mobility experience to Kazakh people while promoting bilateral economic growth. Meanwhile, it will also speed up the construction of automobile product infrastructure, actively promote the development of automobile industry in Kazakhstan, and open up boundless new horizons and explore infinite possibilities for the second "Golden 30 Years" relationship between China and Kazakhstan.
