The Huangshan Mountain Scenic Area resumes operation today after 27 days of closure due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia.

All scenic spots in the area, except the West Sea Canyon and the Lotus Peak which have gone out of business for ecological restoration, open to tourists starting Feb 21.

The attractions open from 8 am to 4 pm and receive no more than 10,000 visitors on a daily basis.

The scenic area provides e-ticketing services to avoid gatherings, enabling visitors to book tickets online and scan codes before being admitted. In addition, the number of tourists in a tour group is limited to 30.

All visitors must show their health code and have their body temperature taken when entering the scenic area. They must wear face masks during the whole visit. When taking the cable car, at most two persons are allowed in each car.

Huangshan Mountain, a UNESCO world heritage site in East China's Anhui province, attracted over 3.3 million visitors in 2018. Due to the novel coronavirus epidemic, the scenic area closed for 27 days from January 25.
