Eighty years ago, the American Flying Tigers joined the Chinese military and people in fierce battles against the Japanese invaders. Eighty years ago, the people of Anhui risked their lives to rescue Flying Tigers pilots, forging a bond beyond borders.

Today, the descendants of the Flying Tigers members and young people from both China and the U.S. reunite on this very soil, while Jeff Greene, Chairman of the Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation, received a reply letter from President Xi Jinping—giving new meaning to this enduring friendship.
