Wang Defu is an intangible cultural heritage inheritor of the Huizhou woodcarving craft in East China's Anhui Province.
He works a chrysanthemum-themed craftwork on a piece of wood and the pattern gradually comes into form under his knife and hammer.
Huizhou woodcarving is one of the traditional Chinese folk carving arts.
It is called "Huizhou Three Carvings" together with Huizhou stone carving and brick carving.
