The Chinese Sports Delegation to the Hangzhou Asian Games consists of 886 athletes (437 female athletes and 449 male athletes), including 36 Olympic champions. Among them, 67 have participated in the Rio Olympics, 201 in the Tokyo Olympics, 226 in the previous Jakarta Asian Games, and 630 are participating in the Asian Games for the first time.

The average age of the athletes in the Chinese Sports Delegation is 25 years old. Among the 28 athletes from Anhui who are participating in the Hangzhou Asian Games, the leading figures include the women's 800 meters runner Wang Chunyu. She won fifth place in the women's 800 meters final at the Tokyo Olympics with a time of 1 minute and 57 seconds. In the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games, Wang Chunyu won the championship with a time of 2 minutes and 1.80 seconds. We also look forward to her defending her title in the Hangzhou Asian Games.

In addition, Anhui player Lan Minghao will also compete in the men's epee competition at the Hangzhou Asian Games.
