Since the summer of this year, the "Qingzhu" service team of Anhui University of Science and Technology, consisting of 26 teachers and students, has gone to the fields and villages of Dongdao Village, Fanchang County, Wuhu City, Anhui Province, and lived, ate and worked with local villagers, carrying out a special practice on rural habitat environment planning and design, exploring a new model of young students helping rural revitalization. 
On the basis of respecting tradition and retaining features, the "Qingzhu" service team carried out targeted research to achieve the unity of actual needs of villagers and objective conditions of professional technology. Based on the natural and cultural characteristics of the village, the service team designed a unique rural habitat environment improvement plan to promote the integration of "agriculture, culture, and tourism". Relying on disciplinary, platform, talent, and technological advantages, the "Qingzhu" service team has been carrying out sustainable professional social practice in more than 100 villages in Fuyang, Huainan, Wuhu, Xuancheng, Lu'an and other cities for 8 years. They have participated in more than 300 on-site investigations on ancient villages, ancient buildings, rural renovation planning, and scientific and technological support for agriculture, provided more than 200 planning and renovation schemes, held more than 150 symposiums and seminars with local governments, villagers, and related units, organized 16 seminars on poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and submitted more than 40 high-quality research reports.
