On the afternoon of June 16th, the inaugural "Anhui 616 Car Purchase Festival" was launched in Hefei. This car purchase festival has created a platform for consumers and car dealers to participate in and interact with each other, with the aim of meeting the diverse consumption needs of urban and rural residents, boosting confidence in car consumption, stimulating consumer demand, and promoting sustained and steady growth in the car consumption market. From January to April 2023, Anhui's automobile production and new energy vehicle production reached 626,300 and 198,900 units respectively, ranking fourth in the country. The consumption of NEVs in the province reached 8.35 billion yuan (about 1.16 billion U.S. dollars), a year-on-year increase of 117.6%. The gathering of vehicle manufacturing enterprises such as Chery, JAC, BYD, NIO, and Changan, together with 1,100 Automobile 4S dealerships in the province, has laid a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the automobile industry in the province. The first car purchase festival last until the 18th, spanning three days. The event brings together more than 30 popular car models from brands such as BYD, BMW, GAC Aion, GAC Trumpchi, Geely, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Wuling, Denza, Xiaopeng, Zeekr, and NETA. Participating car dealers have offered sincere preferential policies, conducted detailed model explanations, test drives, and other activities, aiming to fully meet the needs of the general public and create a new experience in car consumption. In conjunction with the work arrangement of the Ministry of Commerce's "2023 Consumer Boosting Year," the next step will be to organize vehicle roadshows throughout Anhui Province, connecting the entire chain, integrating all channels, bridging online and offline platforms, creating a favorable atmosphere, promoting car consumption, and benefiting the general public.
