In Hefei, there is such a pink house where gather the most vulnerable children with cancer, the parents of sick children who need encouragement the most, and the most heart-warming social volunteers. Since the summer of 2022, a group of 'little angels' wearing masks has become the social focus. During this period, a middle-aged man named Wang Dacheng in Hefei City was busy running for this group of children. Seven years ago, in serving children with cancer and their families all year round, Wang Dacheng saw the difficulty of seeking medical treatment offsite. In 2016 he innovatively launched a public welfare project - Masked Angel Temporary Residence. In the past seven years, a total of 700 cancer children in Anhui Province have lived in the makeshift residence for a short time. On average, 80 families of cancer children who seek medical treatment offsite stay here every month. More than 200 enterprises, institutions, schools, hospitals, etc., have supported the house. It has raised more than 3 million yuan (about 0.42 million U.S. dollars) from various public welfare platforms; more than 3,000 volunteers have participated in the help activities, with a cumulative service time of 10,000 hours. Children affectionately call it the "House with love." Wang Dacheng playing with children in the 'pink house' Volunteers teaching paper-folding in the 'pink house'
