After completing the Hefei-Xinyi high-speed railway, starting from Hefei, you can take the high-speed railway to Lianyungang and Rizhao within 2 hours and Qingdao within 3 hours. The Hefei-Xinyi high-speed railway (Anhui section) starts from Hefei City, passes through Dingyuan County in Chuzhou City, Mingguang City, Wuhe County in Bengbu City, and Sixian County in Suzhou City, and then enters the territory of Jiangsu Province. The line has seven stations including Sixiandong, Wuhe, Mingguangxi, Dingyuandong, Badou, Taohuadian and Xinhefeixi station. The newly built Hefei-Xinyi high-speed railway (Hefei city section) connects He-An-Jiu (Hefei-Anqing-Jiujiang), Chang-Ji-Gan (Nanchang-Ji'anxi-Ganzhou), Gan-Shen (Ganzhou-Shenzhen) and other high-speed railways in the south, which is a fast passenger transport corridor from the urban belt of the Wanjiang River and the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River to the Shandong Peninsula; it also connects Xu-lian (Xuzhou-Lianyungang) high-speed railway and coastal high-speed railway in the north, and is the connecting line between the main channels of the "two vertical and two horizontal" high-speed railway network along the Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Hong Kong, land bridge passage (Lianyungang- Urumqi) and high-speed railways along the Yangtze River. After completing the Hefei-Xinyi high-speed railway, it will further improve the layout of the national high-speed railway network and strengthen the economic integration of inland and coastal areas.
