Dezhou-Shangrao Expressway, Chizhou to Qimen section completes

On the morning of September 29, with the completion of the Shitai to Qimen section of the Chizhou-Qimen Expressway, the Chizhou to Qimen section of the Dezhou-Shangrao Expressway was fully completed. It also marks the first victory of Anhui's campaign of "connecting all counties to expressways."

The Shitai-Qimen section of the Chizhou-Qimen Expressway has a total length of 53.66 kilometers. It starts from Shitai Interchange and ends at Jinzipai Interchange to connect to Huangshan-Qimen Expressway. There are 18 tunnels in the section with a total length of 16.5 kilometers, 54 bridges with a total distance of 14.7 kilometers, and a bridge & tunnel ratio of 58%. There are two service areas in Shitai Guniujiang and Baixi. In addition, the whole expressway passes through the Southern Anhui Tourism Demonstration Zone.

The opening of the Chizhou-Qimen Expressway provides solid support for constructing an ecological, international, and world-class leisure and vacation destination of "Grand Huangshan." At the same time, the main urban area of Yixian County has achieved rapid access to the expressway, and the drive to Hefei has been shortened by nearly one hour.
