On November 21, technicians are developing and producing chips at the 38th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) in Hefei, Anhui Province. On November 8, 2022, at the Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Award Conference, a radio frequency front-end chip and component developed by the CETC 38th Research Institute won the first prize in the Anhui Provincial Technology Invention Award. The chip achieved breaks in many key technologies, such as low-noise amplifiers, high-precision phase shifters, low-power orthogonal mixers, and wide-temperature gain compensation in the design of CMOS radio frequency integrated circuits. Its integrated RF front-end circuit design reached the advanced international level and has the advantages of independent controllability, high integration, and low cost. This invention can be widely used in 5G communication, satellite communication, weather radar, and other fields and can also be applied to large-scale scientific and technological equipment.
